Facing the prospect of thousands of miles of travelling next season, Morpeth Town have joined forces with supporter John Best to provide a high-quality coach experience.
A regular at matches, Best, who has his own travel-based company, has offered the use of a luxury coach to assist with the match day experience away from home.
Town are set to travel as far south as Nottinghamshire, while regularly making trips to Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, so the club are grateful to have the use of such an invaluable asset when clocking up the miles across the country.
“He is investing in the coach for Morpeth because of the needs of the club for long away games. John, as a staunch supporter, is keen to help and we thank him for that,” said Highwaymen chairman Ken Beattie.
There will also be a new supporters coach for away trips as Morpeth gear up for the trek into the unknown.
