Morpeth Town’s Northern League Division One game with Newton Aycliffe was abandoned due to a waterlogged pitch at Moore Lane Park.
A half-hour downpour a couple of hours before kick-off took its toll on the pitch – despite the best efforts of ground staff and others – and another game will have to be rearranged for the Highwaymen.
