Morpeth Town suffered only their second league defeat of the season at West Auckland on Saturday.

A highly entertaining contest ended in a 3-2 loss for The Highwaymen, with Curtis Coppen and Chris Reid getting on the score-sheet in the first half. Despite those two goals, efforts from Nathan Fisher, Daniel Parker and Amar Purewal ensured three points for West as they inflicted a rare defeat on Morpeth.
