Morpeth Town beat fellow EBAC Northern League Division One side West Allotment Celtic in a hastily re-arranged pre-season friendly. The Highwaymen were scheduled to play Division Two side Heaton Stannington on Friday, but after the game fell through West Allotment Celtic agreed to play on short notice.

A brace from midfielder Ben Sayer and a goal apiece by Jordan Nellis and Luke Carr secured a fourth pre-season victory for Town.
