Morpeth Town made it 15 wins out of 16 at home in the league, but had to come from behind once again against a stubborn Sunderland RCA side.

Stephen Callan gave the visitors the lead on 19 minutes heading home a floated free-kick, but Keith Graydon levelled proceedings in first half injury time, converting a penalty after Sean Taylor was tripped in the area.

Morpeth dominated the opening salvos in the second period, with Denver Morris netting his first goal for the club before Joe Walton added a third. Despite a late Colin Larkin penalty, The Highwaymen kept pressure on the leaders with a vital three points.
