A late penalty from Gaz Bainbridge and a strike from Ryan Carr gave North Shields all three points. Dale Pearson’s delightful chip had given the visitors a deserved lead.
Despite some free-flowing Morpeth football, a 20 minute spell before the final whistle cost the Highwaymen dearly.
