Morpeth Town are having a fantastic season on the pitch, and we continue to grow quickly off it.
Part of this expansion has seen our media team add plenty of additional value to the club’s profile through many different ways.
Thanks to the sterling work of club reporter Sam, videographer Andrew, photographer George and graphic designer Ian, Morpeth Town has grown across all social media channels, with over 500,000 impressions on Twitter each month, a Facebook page that has tipped 1000 likes and a newly introduced Instagram feed which has over 400 followers already.
With the introduction of Radio Highwaymen, the media team are at full capacity but keen to do more for our supporters, so they get the best access to their team.
Club media manager Ross Jackson is seeking a social media reporter to continue the upward curve our social media channels are enjoying, with a focus on growing our Instagram feed.
A passion for football is a must, as is an interest in sports journalism or social media reporting and advertising. We would favour a candidate who can make all home and away games (transport on the team bus is available), but it is not essential for this voluntary role.
As a season goes on, you will not just be given those roles. If you wished to learn new skills, we can offer the chance to write content, produce video content and much more.
If you are interested in joining an ambitious team that is on the rise, then get in touch with a brief covering letter and CV by emailing admin@morpethtownafc.com.
