Morpeth Town’s opponents for next season have been confirmed as the Evo-Stik announced the make up of their divisions for the forthcoming campaign.

With the dust barely settling on our final campaign in the Northern League, attention now turns to next season and a new batch of rivals to compete with, as well as familiar foes Marske United.

A total of 38 games await The Highwaymen in the Northern Premier League East, with away days in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire among others.

Manager Nick Gray has already expressed his intent to get everything in place ahead of the new season. “I’ll not be taking any time off over the summer as I try to get things right,” he said.

“Everyone will know their roles and responsibilities by the first kick of the new season. By then, we as a club – including players, staff and everyone associated – have all got to be singing off the same hymn book. Next season we are on a whole new adventure.”
