Leon Gibson-Booth has departed the club following the end of the 2024/25 season.

The youngster joined initially on loan from York City early in the season and joined on a permanent basis following his release from the National League side.

The wing-back made 27 appearances across his two spells and made an impression on the Highwaymen faithful with his impressive development and growth throughout.

Leon said: Morpeth as a club has been a real joy to play for and I’ve had an unbelievable experience this year in my first year of senior football.

“I can’t thank the management, players and fans enough for what they have done for me and how they have made me feel since day one. I’ve enjoyed every second of wearing the shirt this season and had some great memories which I’ll cherish forever, and wish everyone good luck for next season!”

Everyone at Morpeth wishes Leon all the best for his future and hope to see him continue to develop.
