Morpeth Town will continue to support football in the community, at all ages, for boys and girls at all levels right the way through to senior walking football.

As such the club is encompassing its affiliated reserve side and its association with Morpeth FC, welcoming them into the fold where they will both play under the Morpeth Town FC umbrella. This is with a view to encouraging a route for all into the first team, who operate in the NPL Premier Division.

“Both of these teams are very well run with dedicated helpers and committees,” said Morpeth Town AFC chairman Ken Beattie.

“It is the aim of all at the club that youngsters be given a chance to develop through the ranks. With both sides operating in the Northern Alliance, it is the hope they will progress through the divisions with the aim of achieving first division status.

“With this in mind, we will be opening up our facilities for all to enjoy and help both of them to feel part of the club.

“In order to achieve this we will be supporting them with kit and facilities so they feel professional, with a focus on improving and the goal of playing at the highest level of non-league football.”
