Jeff Henderson
A warrior of a centre-back, Henderson’s most successful time came when winning league and cup glory at Sligo Rovers. He also played in the Europa League and Champions League while in Ireland before returning to his native North East. He joined Town from Stobswood, where he had been regaining his fitness following injury.

Chris Reid
Chris signed for the club from Whitley Bay during the 2015-16 season, and has proved to be an influential member of the squad. He made over 200 appearances for the four-time FA Vase winners, and has excelled at Craik Park.

Michael Turner
Michael signed for the Highwaymen and has gone from strength to strength, making 179 appearances by the end of last season. He is a solid and no-nonsense defender, who likes to get forward, with his aerial presence a handy feature.
Callum Morris
Callum is a superb central defender who left Morpeth a decade ago to play professional football in Scotland for Dunfermline first. He then went on to have spells at Dundee United and Aberdeen before returning to Dunfermline and then heading more recently to Ross County prior to re-joining the Highwaymen.

Josh Robson
A defender by trade, the 24-year is a product of Sunderland’s academy before heading to Norway, initially on loan, to play for four years. Upon returning to the UK, Bedlington-born Robson featured for Blyth Spartans at the tail end of last season in National League North as they enjoyed an upturn in fortunes.

Josh King
A versatile member of the squad, Josh joined in the summer of 2022 ahead of the new season. Previously with York City, the midfielder, who can also feature in defence, was scheduled to join us on loan before Covid brought that season to an end without him kicking a ball.

Ryan Wombwell
Having featured for the Highwaymen on loan during the tail end of the 2021/22 season, Ryan returned to the club for the whole of the 2022/23 campaign, once again on loan from parent club Gateshead. Outstanding defensively, he is also adept in a holding role in midfield.

Sam Hodgson
A versatile member of the squad, Sam signed for The Highwaymen from Shildon in the Summer of 2018. Able to play across the back four, he also provides a calm and composed figure in the centre of midfield.
Ryan Donaldson
An adaptable midfielder with fantastic talent, Ryan joined in the summer of 2021 after leaving Hartlepool United, where he captained the side to promotion to the Football League. Spells at Gateshead, Cambridge United and Plymouth Argyle preceded his four years at Pools. An exceptional attacking talent.

Bailey Geliher
Bailey joined up with the first team after impressing during his time with our Academy. Making that step up from the Academy set-up last season, Bailey featured on a few occasions, scoring his first goal on the final day of the 2021/22 season.
Connor Pani
Signed on a season-long loan from Gateshead, Connor has great vision and a maturity on the ball that belies his young years. Keen to get on the front foot and drive at the heart of opposition defences, he’s due a breakout season with a string of admirers across clubs in the North East.
Jack Foalle
Jack only made the switch to the Highwaymen in October 2018 but has hit the ground running. Following a run of 17 goals in 15 games at Whitley Bay, ambitious Jack made the move to Craik Park and duly scored a sensational first goal for the club on his home debut. Quick, energetic and enthusiastic, Foalle is a real threat up top.
Connor Thomson
Already accustomed to scoring at Craik Park, after his goal for Blyth Spartans knocked the Highwaymen out of the Northumberland Senior Cup last season, his eye for goal and desire to get on the front foot should make him a stand-out performer next season. The 26-year-old’s previous clubs include Carlisle United, Blackburn Rovers, Barrow, Halifax, Gateshead and Scarborough Athletic, as well as Spartans, whom he featured 41 times for in the last two seasons

Dale Pearson
Previously at Northern League Consett, the striker scored 67 goals in 84 appearances, including a goal at Wembley in the FA Vase final, before opting for a switch to Craik Park this summer. A lethal finisher, Pearson was ready for a new challenge after helping Consett to promotion last time out.
Josh Scott
Josh started his career in the youth academy at Hartlepool United before making the switch to Mansfield Town, where he penned a two-year deal. Loan spells at Kettering Town and Basford United followed before a switch to the Highwaymen in the summer of 2022. A mobile striker, he’s sure to be a goal threat.
Sam Fishburn
Sam joined the club on loan from Carlisle United after the start of the 2022/23 season after a spell at Blyth Spartans didn’t work out. He has previously scored eight in nine appearances while on loan at Lancaster City last season and will be a big threat up top for Morpeth.

Manager
Craig previously managed Seaham Red Star before leaving the club during the previous campaign. His playing career took him to Sunderland, Rochdale, Hartlepool, Spennymoor Town and Blyth Spartans.

Olly is a well-liked character at the club and is highly thought of by everyone. He is thoroughly a part of the Morpeth dressing room and excels at the job in hand. He is well-respected among his fellow peers, players and also fans alike.
