Morpeth Town were delighted to welcome over 50 pensioners to Craik Park for their Christmas dinner.
The event, free of charge to those who attended, was put on at the clubhouse, with the fantastic help and support of event co-ordinator Andrea Blakelock.
With plenty of positive feedback, it was superb to welcome so many great people of Morpeth and the surrounding areas.
“It was a superb afternoon and really well attended,” said club Chief Executive Mark Hedley, who was keen to thank chairman Ken Beattie, all the staff and volunteers who helped make the event a big success.
“We’d like to thank Andrea for hosting the event, which is our way of saying thank you to those who are part of the town and the surrounding area.
“We realise the role we can play in the context of the town and we embrace our position; we proudly represent Morpeth in football and always look to give back to the town following their fantastic support of the club.
“Hopefully, we will see you at Craik Park on Saturday to cheer on the lads against Warrington Town.”
