Morpeth Town Football Club is delighted to announce a new major sponsorship agreement with Coopies Lane-based MKM Morpeth.

The initial agreement will see MKM Morpeth become the principal partner with an initial agreement which runs until at least the end of the 2026-2027 season.  The partnership will see the MKM logo appear on both the home & away Morpeth Town FC first team, academy playing shirts & Replica Shirts for 2025/2026 and on the first team travel wear & some training wear.

MKM Morpeth will also be the main sponsor when the full home, away & third kits are redesigned for the 2026-2027 season.

The first match bearing the logo will be our opening NPL league fixture of the season on Saturday 9th August v Ilkeston Town.

David Robertson, General Operations Manager of Morpeth Town FC said: “We are delighted to be working in association with such a well-known and trusted brand, importantly one based in the town.

“MKM Morpeth were brilliant with us last season both as an associate sponsor and whenever we needed building materials for in and around the club, so to have them come onboard as our principal sponsor is great as it shows both sides have felt the benefit of being partnered previously. We hope we continue to have a long and successful journey for both parties.”

John Parkin, Branch Director, MKM Morpeth said: “Myself, Billie Hardy and everyone at MKM are thrilled to support Morpeth Town Football Club over the next two seasons. The club is a big part of the community around the town with the men’s and women’s first teams, academy and junior sections and we share that passion for the town and are really pleased to be able to support the football club.  It’s going to be a source of pride for our staff to see our brand logo on the kits.”

The partnership will see our current principle partnership with St Mary’s Inn come to an end, while they will remain as the sponsor on this season’s third kit. Steven Shaw, Football Operations Manager of Morpeth Town FC said: “Our partnership with St Mary’s Inn over the last few seasons began as a professional one and quickly became a personal one with the owners Shaun & Annette and their daughters Laura & Becca becoming good friends of ours, the support they have gave us and the women’s team has been incredible and there is no way we could have had the relative success we’ve had on the pitch the last couple of seasons without them.

As for MKM Morpeth replacing them as our principle partner, I’m absolutely delighted that we’ve been able to build on a relationship and they’ve seen the benefit of becoming our main sponsor, and hopefully that continues and we’re able to explore all avenues of the partnership so that MKM, the club and all of our supporters and membership base benefit from the partnership.”
