Morpeth Town is delighted to announce the signing of defender Liam Miller, who joins from Guisborough Town.
The talented full-back enjoyed his first pre-season training session on Thursday night and is set to be included in tomorrow’s squad for the home pre-season clash with Stockton Town at Craik Park (3pm).
A Sunderland Academy graduate, he played internationally for Scotland until 18 before stints in adult football with Bishop Auckland and Guisborough.
“I wanted to sign with Morpeth as soon as I spoke to people around the club,” said Miller.
“I heard the plans for the current season and wanted to be a part of them. After a brief spell with a couple of Northern League clubs, I’m happy to be playing back at a higher level along with the way the team aspires to play which will suit me massively.
“I’d always want to aim to play at the highest level possible and test myself. Morpeth, and the group we have, will only allow me to improve as a player individually.”
