Morpeth Town are pleased to confirm that Tom Potter’s season-long loan deal from Whitley Bay has been turned into a permanent signing.

The attacker has been in sparkling form since his switch from the Northern League outfit, fitting in quickly and netting four times already as Morpeth stormed to the top of Evo-Stik East.

After completing the formalities, Potter was delighted to get a deal sorted.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time at the club so far, so it is good to get a permanent deal sorted,” said Potter.

“This season has been a lot of work but a lot of fun. I am confident we can continue to keep battling for the title. The club is going from strength to strength and I want to be a part of it.”
