Morpeth Town have a quick turnaround from Saturday’s victory against Ryhope CW when they journey to Sunderland RCA for Tuesday night’s clash.
The game will be an important one as Town attempt to cement their grip on top spot in EBAC Northern League Division One. Fingers crossed for no fog!

SNAPSHOT PREVIEW
FORM: Sunderland RCA are an improving side and have only lost once in their last six league matches. On home soil, a record of two defeats in 11 is admirable, as too is their goals against record at just 12 in those 11 clashes. They were 2-0 down by the time the first attempt at this game between the two sides was abandoned, making for an intriguing encounter this time around. Their last nine games have ended with a difference of one or less suggesting a tight game in store at Meadow Park.
Morpeth are bang in form once again and looked like returning to the blistering start of earlier in the campaign when they swept aside all opponents in free-scoring fashion during the win against Ryhope CW. The 3-1 triumph was the first time they have put more than two past an opponent since beating Penrith 6-0 in mid-October. Their goals against tally in away league outings is the envy of many in the division with 11 goals leaked in 10 games, and three of those were given away at Seaham Red Star meaning the record is more like 8 conceded in nine league games.
LAST GAME: Last time out Sunderland RCA were part of a game best described as not one for the purists as they drew a blank in a 0-0 draw with struggling Newton Aycliffe.
Morpeth on the otherhand were creating plenty of chances as they beat Ryhope CW 3-1, courtesy of a Mark Davison strike early on and Liam Henderson brace in the second half.
ONE TO WATCH: Nathan O’Neil already has 13 for the season in the league and will prove a major threat to Karl Dryden and co at the back.
