Morpeth Town AFC are thrilled to announce Ryan Chater has signed his first senior contract with the club.
The youngster has been with the Morpeth Town Academy for two years and going into our Under 19s programme, Chater has signed a one-year deal with an option of a second.
He follows Will Dowling and Matty Griggs in signing senior deals after coming through the club’s youth system.
Craig Lynch said: “Ryan is someone who we have had training with us the last year and has had spells at Bedlington and played in the Gateshead youth system as well as being in the Academy.
“Ryan has done great and earned his place on the bench and minutes in the league and cup games. It will be great to get Ryan in for pre-season and give him a run of games and look to progress his development further.”
