Morpeth Town FC have been made aware of an allegation of racist abuse during our home game with Whitby Town earlier today.
As a club we have a zero tolerance approach to racism in all its forms. We have spoken with the player in question and others situated around where the alleged incident took place, and they totally refute the claims made.
As a club we will be making no more comment on the matter and will liaise with the FA to help with any investigation into the matter.
