Morpeth Town continued their good run of form in the league with a 2-1 victory over relegation threatened Bedlington Terriers on Bank Holiday Monday at Dr Pitt Welfare Park,

Sean Taylor’s 25th minute tap-in gave the Highwaymen a deserved first half lead before a spectacular Jonathan Wright free-kick levelled proceedings.

With just seven minutes to play, Jordan Fry headed home unmarked to give Town all three points.
